Architecture

Tokens that lock authenticity

Once an item passes the four-step review, a certificate is issued and a digital token is created through an Ethereum-compatible blockchain API. The token references the certificate record, so the piece's authenticity is tied to a fixed identifier rather than a claim.

When a trade settles through escrow, ownership transfer is recorded against that same token. The item's record reflects the new owner, giving buyers and sellers a clear and auditable history of who held the piece and when.

Safeguards

Fraud detection before listing

Every submission is checked against documented origin and matched to existing records before it can be listed. Document histories are audited for gaps and inconsistencies, and flagged submissions are held for review.

Only verified items reach the marketplace. Payments run through an integrated processor and funds are held in escrow until ownership transfer is recorded, reducing the exposure of both parties to fraud.

Verification indicates that a review was completed against the evidence provided. It does not guarantee authenticity or future value, and the disclaimers on each page describe those limits.
